What do I receive for my £10.95 registration fee?
In addition to the above:
A permanent visible marking kit with your own unique number. The marking is approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to their standard LPS 1225. Your bike's details will also be held on our secure LPCB database (LPS 1224) available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is in addition to your on-line registration. The kit contains 2 marking stencils, marking compound and warning labels.
What do I receive for my £20.95 registration fee?
In addition to the above:
Your own unique electronic Datatag to fit inside the frame of your bicycle. Police possess over 3000 scanners capable of reading the electronic I.D. Millions of these tags have been used to identify motorcycles, jet skis, antiques, heavy plant and bicycles. This covert identification will still identify your bicycle if all other marks have been removed. The bicycle details will also be held on the Datatag database. Kit includes a Datatag decal and 4 permanent identification labels.
