Selectamark and Supermark are Insurance approved products independently tested by LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board). We also hold a Secured by Design Licence for Selectamark and our new Forensic Coding product SelectaDNA, giving both products Police approval. Many insurance companies insist on a permanent, visible marking using either company name and postcode or a secure database phone number, customer code and unique number for each item. The latter is the LPCB approved product. We are recommended by all major Insurance Companies and Brokers, some of whom you will see featured on this site and our literature. Other Insurers have a policy of not allowing their Logo to be featured so are not shown.

As well as permanent, visible marking, some insurers have noticed similar benefits of using a covert forensic marking in tandem with warning labels and signs advertising its use. Our new Forensic Coding product SelectaDNA fits this description and has been adopted by a number of UK Police Forces, achieving crime reduction figures of up to 85% in some areas.

Insurance Surveyors insist that property (generally over £1000 value) is visibly and permanently marked if the client has had a loss. This would be part of a package of measures to ensure continuance of insurance. Because marking is a quick simple and low cost do-it-yourself product it is easily completed in a short space of time.
