The Selectamark permanent marking system has been used to mark many millions of items over the years. It is quick and easy to use and gives a neat, professional mark every time.

Just pause for a moment and work out how much money you have invested in computers, office equipment, TVs, VCRs, etc. Then consider that it costs around £1 per item (or less) to safeguard your property with the Selectamark permanent marking system.

We produce individual stencils with the message of your choice, although most companies use either their company name and postcode or our database telephone number and unique reference number. The latter conforms to Home Office Guidelines, and is recommended by the Police and Insurance Companies alike. You use each stencil once, so you will need one for every item you wish to mark. The message can be on one or two lines. You can also have a sequential number on the postcoded stencils for asset marking if you wish (see sample below).

As well as our original 7mm high characters we can now produce stencils with 4mm and 5mm high characters; these are ideal for smaller items such as PDAs and digital cameras.

We have formulated unique compounds to mark a variety of materials. Your chosen chemical permeates through the holes of the stencil into the item to be marked, leaving a permanent record of ownership.

The Marking compounds are suitable for the following:

Aluminium
The aluminium compound is effective on bare or anodised aluminium and its alloys, but not on other metals. It is ideal for a host of industrial products.

Plastic
The plastic compound is available in blue, UV orange or ice blue and will also mark baked paint surfaces, enamel, wood and fabrics. This compound is ideal for virtually any office equipment. The blue compound is recommended for nearly all applications; however, for any darker items, the UV orange or ice blue should be used.

Glass
Car windows can be etched with the vehicle registration number - as can glass or ceramics in the workplace.

How the system works:



1. Peel the backing from the stencil 2. Apply the stencil to the surface


3. Squeeze compound into a recepticle 4. Apply the compound to the stencil


5. After 30s use tissue to remove excess 6. Peel the stencil from the surface


7. To cure marking, wipe with medi-wipe 8. Marking is now dry to touch

Selectamark LPS 1225

The Loss Prevention Standard 1225 is an independent testing system for our Asset Identification marking system. The system combines security marking, product registration (model, serial number, value) held on our secure database, and verification. The database is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to police, insurers and owners. Calls are free and the registration fee is included in the prices below.

As well as having each individual item registered on the database, a further benefit is that the marks do not have to be changed if you move premises (unlike if you use postcoded stencils) - all you need to do is inform us that you have changed addresses.

The stencil conists of a free-phone database number on the top line (which is fixed), and your unique customer code and asset number on the bottom line (which you choose).

Available in 4mm, 5mm and 7mm stencils.
