The above types of asset labels appear in order of how permanent and secure they are, ranging from PVC which can be peeled off in one piece, to the Supermark Permanent labels which include a permanent chemically etched mark.
The benefit of Tamper-resistant labels over PVC labels is that they are much harder to remove and will break up into tiny pieces if removal is attempted.
Both PVC types can be supplied as fully laminated (for added durability) or part laminated - 'Write and Seal' where you can write information on the label - such as an asset number or asset location - and then apply the clear laminate over the whole label to protect the written information. The extra cost of these features is 10p per label.
All labels are available with barcodes except the TESA Security labels. If barcodes are not needed, TESA Security labels provide a highly durable security label option. They are supplied in a black material with white print, and are reistant to Tampering, Temperature (-50C - 200C), Abrasion, Chemicals, and Weather.

- Label sizes are 36x19mm and 50x25mm. Other sizes incur £60 cost.
- TESA Security Labels sizes are 50x20mm and 30x15mm.
- All prices are for single colour printing. For additional colours add £50 per colour
- Sequential numbering and/or bar-coding is included in the cost
- Security label orders incur a £99.00 initial set-up fee for logos, or non-standard text
- Lead times are 3-5 working days from approval of artwork.
- Carriage is charged at £8.00, and all prices exclude VAT at 17.5%
*Widest TESA Security Label measurement is 55mm.
